A Huge Thank You to Bowman Friends and Families

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Bowman Friends and Families, our dedicated PTA group, who have generously volunteered their time over the past year to raise funds for our school community. Through fantastic events such as the Christmas Fair, Summer Fete and Easter Raffle, they have raised an incredible £1,600, enabling the purchase of 16 bicycles and 10 helmets for Bowman Academy.

These resources are already making a significant difference to our students. The bikes are being enjoyed daily as part of reward activities, PE lessons and Outdoor Education, providing valuable opportunities to develop confidence, independence and physical wellbeing.

We are also delighted to celebrate that six of our students have successfully completed Level 1 and Level 2 Bikeability training on these bikes, demonstrating their ability to cycle safely and confidently on local roads.

We are incredibly grateful to Bowman Friends and Families for their continued support and commitment to enriching opportunities for our students. Their fundraising efforts are helping to create meaningful experiences and lasting memories for our young people.
