Bowman’s Birthday Bash
On Friday 26th September, Bowman Academy celebrated it’s first birthday!
It has been one whole year since our official opening and we felt like that deserved a celebration.
Starting with our Macmillan Coffee morning, families and carers were invited to join us and we are proud to have raised a brilliant £98.45.
Families and carers then stayed for our whole school assembly, where we sung ‘Happy Birthday’ to the school. The whole school then shared a birthday party lunch in the hall together with party hats, cake, and even a conga line!
The day finished with the judging of our birthday card competition; there were so many fantastic designs to choose from with some heartfelt messages showing pupils’ appreciation of the school.
It was a fantastic day of fun and celebration and the start of a new tradition at Bowman Academy – we can’t wait to do it all again next year!
