At Bowman Academy, we value the important role that parents and carers play in supporting pupils as they plan for their future. While the school provides ongoing, personalised careers education, guidance and support, we recognise that positive collaboration with families is key to helping young people make informed and confident decisions. This page provides information and resources to help parents and carers understand the range of pathways and opportunities available, and to support conversations about next steps, aspirations and future goals.

Careers Programme
Our Careers Programme has been carefully designed to meet the individual needs, interests and aspirations of all pupils at Bowman Academy. Recognising the diverse strengths, experiences and barriers our pupils may face, we provide a broad, engaging and inclusive programme that inspires ambition, raises aspirations and prepares pupils for their future. Through meaningful employer encounters, enterprise activities, workplace experiences, curriculum links and impartial careers guidance, pupils develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to make informed decisions about their next steps. The programme is progressive, age-appropriate and responsive to individual need
